Jon Freeman

Jon is a co-founder and director of the UK Centre for Human Emergence and runs his own consulting firm, Spiral Futures. He is on the steering group of the Conscious Capitalism Institute (UK Chapter) and the strategy group for the Spirit in Work consultancy.

Since earning his MA in Human Sciences from Oxford, Jon has been working with organisations for over three decades, as an applications architect, as European Information Systems Director for a market-leading multinational and as a consultant Programme and Change manager, working with major businesses such as BA, Calor Gas, BAA, O2 and, Vodafone. He also has a deep background in personal development and people-based change which has led him in more recent years to specialise in Values-based organisational development. He specialises in Systems Intelligence, aligning the systemic and functional aspects of the enterprise so that they support, rather than inhibit and undermine, the cultural and leadership driven changes which arise from conscious and integral leadership development approaches.

Jon’s passion for whole systems change has led him to train deeply in both individual and organisational change methodologies. He has taken the journey of development that is expected of conscious leaders and is when required a radical coach, but now mainly works as a collaborator and support to other coaching and culture specialists. He is accredited as a master trainer in Spiral Dynamics Integral (Graves theory) and as a coach-trainer in the SQ21 Spiritual Intelligence coaching methodology. Additionally he is certified in the Barrett Corporate Transformation Tools system.

Jon is also a thought leader and author about whom Dr Don Beck, co-author of Spiral Dynamics theory, says “He will open your eyes to expanding notions of reality.” He has one book on the future of our relationship with money and more recently “The Science of Possibility” which is a fundamental and coherent rebuild of scientific theory to end the sterile “science vs spirit” debate, described by reviewers in terms such as “compelling”, “brave and comprehensive”.
