In this Conscious Leadership in Action podcast conversation, Eric Kaufmann, CEO of Sagatica, suggested a distinction between conscientious leadership and conscious leadership. During our conversation, Eric said: Being conscientious means To Do the Right Thing. So, recycling, diversity, inclusion, fair trade, those are the right things to do. We applaud that. Currently, the “C” word is quickly dismissed in the business world, in fact, it is paradoxically ‘blasphemous’ to many business practitioners. Consciousness is often misinterpreted as it alludes to too many topics of the ‘airy-fairy’ nature.
