What makes a great leader? What capacities would we need to develop in order to lead our own lives with greater integrity and depth? What might we add to our own awareness and our own toolkits that would support us in our work with others?
In recent decades we have accumulated awareness of Emotional Intelligence (EQ) along with evidence of how much it contributes to individual and team performance. What if there is more? How about a next stage, an ‘advanced EQ’ which would raise the game even further? As Cindy Wigglesworth, author of the award-winning book SQ21: The 21 skills of Spiritual Intelligence says, “what if we could lead ourselves with such authenticity and depth that others would CHOOSE to follow?”
This course develops these abilities.
In this half-day workshop we will explore what SQ is and what it can do for you and your clients. Spiritual Intelligence is deeply practical. It is non-religious; it works with all faiths but requires no faith. It embraces mindfulness, meditation, intuition and presencing and is fully compatible with all kinds of mysticism, but is different from all of these. The Spiritual Intelligence we will present is a skill-set and a development framework.
"Cindy Wigglesworth has devised an assessment that is an excellent overview of the process of general spiritual intelligence itself, including developmental variables – and thus one I can highly recommend!" Ken Wilber, author of A Brief History of Everything
In our time together you will have an opportunity to explore and experience your own way of being in order to discover what more there might be for you including as a leader of others, along with some new perspectives for working with others in their lives and working relationships.
"This is the next frontier in leadership. It will benefit you and your business to pay attention and develop these skills." John Mackey, Co-Founder and Co-CEO Whole Foods Market
